"Grey" Pink Saturday

Thanks to Beverly for hosting yet another PINK Saturday. I have been out of the loop for the past couple of weeks. My contribution for this week is Sadie. She is our foster greyhound, well she was. Last night I signed the adoption papers for this little girl. She has been living with us since January. She has been in several homes and just didn't work out. I don't really understand how anyone could love this little girl and then give her up. She is a special needs pup. Diagnosed with a mitral valve disorder, she will be on heart medication the remainder of her life. So here is Sadie sporting her new pink collar. Welcome Home Sadie!

  14. Sadie is one lucky dog! I am sure she will bring you much happiness.

I have just found your blog and it interests me because I also am in a BUNCO group and have been for 20 years. We only do dinner at Christmas time. There are three tables set up every month with four players each...so we have two different snacks at each table. Simple dips, veggies, chip, nuts, etc. And then two different desserts. And the Christmas dinner is potluck with each woman bringing something she signed up for in November. It's such a lot of fun, isn't it! I'm sure you look forward to it as much as our group does.

  15. Michelle,
As you well know, I'm not a "pet" person...but hanging around with your greyhounds is so cool! They're so well-behaved (except for the getting to know you sniffs) that I would be tempted to adopt one if only I had the outdoor room. Congrats on adopting Miss Sadie.
