I finally got motivated to make him something. I had purchased some cloth diapers for burp cloths. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the cloth diapers, but they will serve their purpose. Trying not to sweat the small stuff these days.
I was able to get four burp cloths out of of a quarter yard of fabric. Mom and dad love the dinos, I hope he does too!
This jungle print was a fat quarter I fell in love with.
These last ones, I used ribbon that I had left over from previous burp cloths. I try to make some for baby shower gifts.
They look pretty now, but after a few spit ups, they will be all broke in!
My mother in law always makes cute burp cloths, too! Darned if they're not the handiest thing ever! Congratulations on the impending new baby! You must be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations are soon in store with the arrival of a new grandson! I love that name and the spelling too. My eldest son's name is Geoffrey but he is now shortened to Geoff. How very exciting.
