This trunk was my oldest daughter's toy box when she was a baby. It was one of those that was later deemed "unsafe" because children were suffocating after the lid would fall on them. I never quite figured out how this could happen if you were supervising your child, so we continued to use it. She is has just moved into a new place and the cats always laid on top of the trunk in front of the window.
