Projects from the cabin

Well, this weekend turned out to be productive. Friday was a craft day at PlumWaterCottage and I finished the baby quilt for Ashley. Teresa got a really good picture for me. Thanks! Not to mention I am so impressed with myself that I wasn't up the night before the shower sewing my fingers to the bone.

Saturday, I worked on a mantle scarf. A friend of mine bought me the kit to work on after my dad passed away. I must admit that I will enjoy it for years to come. It was a welcome change from all the flowers and planters. I will think of her each time I display it.

I also started on a halloween throw. I had purchased a cheater panel when the local Ben Franklin craft store was going out of business. So I am going to get it done to use this fall. I went to Jo-ann Fabrics with my 40% off coupon in hand to purchase the backing today. I surely can finish this up pretty quickly.

  1. The quilt is beautiful. Shall I email photos to you, or were you going to right click?

I am so exited about the Halloween Swap...all kinds of ideas!
